Big News This Week.

We love all of our blog readers and hope you will continue to join us each Tuesday and Friday for our little snippets of news from Threadbear....but guess what....Big news this week....look at us....please all join us on Facebook for lots of quick updates about new arrivals and day to day goings on in the shop.

From our huge order of gorgeous Quiltmania diaries we now only have four left in stock so if you don't have your 2014 diary yet grab one of these great little diaries...perfect handbag size, absolutely beautiful Quiltmania photos and just perfect for filling up with sewing dates with friends.

This is our first week back after the holidays and we are already having a great time preparing for our Appliqué School days in February and March....this is just a little sneak peak of one of the quilt centres from the project designed by Margaret McDonald and Di Ford, especially for those lucky enough to be coming to Appliqué School...and....we have 2 spaces free for Sunday February 16th so just call us at the shop if you would like to join us on the day. Another sneak peak is the beautiful fabric packs we are preparing for the goody bags you will receive on the day.

We have bright happy colours new to the shelves this week, they work well with 1930s prints and are great for grandchildren and little peoples quilts.  They are very happy colours, great  to work with over  summer....they are from the "Favorite Mini Florals" range from Holly Holderman for Lake House Dry Goods and they are $22.00 mt.

Sammy has had a great week back at work, as usual, sitting in the class room and supervising to make sure we all do our work...he would like to send a big New Years greeting especially for Claire who came into the shop to see Sammy just before Christmas...Claire had come all the way from South Australia to see Sammy and he was out with his dad Kurt doing blokey things and missed out on pats and cuddles.....so he is sending Claire a cheerio and a big lick.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and hope that we all get to enjoy some sewing time.
