Once They Are Gone They Are Gone

We are very excited to have a limited amount of Dutch Chintz border Prints in the beautiful polished cotton that the Dutch are so famous for.

But we do only have a very limited quantity of these border prints, and once they are gone we won't be getting any more.  All are pre-cut lengths of a single 10.5 inch  strip of border print.   Choose from  2.45 mts , 3 mts, 4 mts, or 7mt pieces. 

As you can see from the photos, they are absolutely divine and we can already think of all the amazing ways we could use them.  Get in quickly....they are not on our website but you can just call us at the shop if you would like one.

We want to say a huge thank you to Joy, for coming all the way from Ballarat for a visit, and taking the time to bring this beautiful quilt top to show us all.....isn't it just gorgeous...look at all those beautiful little baskets...they are so sweet, and Joy's wonderful sense of colour brings the whole quilt to life.....Joy, we love your quilt.

New in the shop this week is "Piecemakers", a great new range from Moda.

Lots of very warm browns and creams and some great tealy blues, in lots of cute and interesting small prints, including a very nice script.  We have 1/8 packs of this range with all 20 prints for $60.00.

Now...if you are free on Saturday, July 26th, we still have a few free places in Di Ford's Fussy Cutting class.  Can you think of a better way to spend a day...getting together with Di Ford and lots of lovely sewers, and learning Fussy Cutting from the absolute best.  The class is from 10.00 to 4.00 and the class fee is $95.00....morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided, plus a few extra goodies. Full payment is required upon booking, and you can call us at the shop to book and pay.

Well, winter is coming and the cold and wet weather is already with us.  It is not all sitting in the class room looking cute for Sammy...sometimes there is outdoor business to be taken care of...come rain, hail or shine bones have to be attended to.
