New Classes with Di Ford-Hall and Katrina Hadjimichael

Saturday 2 April ~ Allen Manor by Di Ford-Hall ~ 10am-3pm
Here's the perfect chance to use that gorgeous piece of Toile you bought but just can't figure out how to use it! Join Di for a day and learn how to make your own unique centre block using broderie perse applique, then finish it with machine or hand pieced blocks on point.  Fee: $95

From Di's first fabulous fabric range, Cloverdale House, you can make this gorgeous quilt.  The circular centre is created using broderie perse and hexagons, surrounded by more broderie perse applique, then finished with triangles and a border of the stunning pillar print.  Fee: $95

Di's second Fabric collection is soon to be released, and of course she has the quilt for it already planned.  Sure to be another stunner, Di offers you the opportunity to join her for a day to learn it's secrets.  Fee $95

29 & 30 October Two-Day Class ~ Lambton by Katrina Hadjimichael ~ 10am-3pm
Number 7 in her Jane Austen series, this beautiful medallion quilt offers you a variety of blocks and methods. Join Katrina to learn her techniques for hand applique, hand piecing and paper piecing.This 2-day class will allow time to cover all aspects of this quilt while being entertained by the lovely Katrina!  Fee: $170

And as if that wasn't enough to inspire us all to go and pick up a needle and thread, here is Rhonda's fabulous Sutton Grange quilt now finished and ready for binding.  Well done Rhonda!

Our poor beloved Sammy had to visit the doggy dentist this week to have a wee bit of work done to improve his smile (and his breath!).  After a night on the couch with his favourite squishy toy firmly between his gums, he was back in form the next day ready for action.  Have a great weekend everyone!

  1. I wish I lived on your side of the world. I have discovered how marvelous Australian quilting is and how interesting your patterns are! And Di Hall has such stunning quilts I have trouble putting the computer down at night! Kudos!!
